ARTUCLE 6, 7 of Irowa Obazee/Igunbor Constitution

OFFICERS OF THE COMMUNITY

The officers of the Community Development Association shall be as follows:

I. Chairman

II. Vice Chairman

III. Secretary

IV. Assistant Secretary

V. Financial Secretary

VI. Treasurer

VII. Publicity Secretary (PRO)

VIII. Assistant Publicity Secretary

IX. Auditor

X. Social and Welfare Officer

XI. Assistant Welfare Officer

XII. Provost

XIII. Two Ex-officio

XIV. Standing Committee Chairman

XV. Legal Adviser

XVI. Youth Leader



ARTICLE 7

7.1 APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS

A. The appointment of officers shall be by consensus of voting
in the general meeting of the community.

B. Any vacancy that occurs through resignation, death, long
absence from the community ot removal by resolution of the general
meeting shall be filled temporarily by the Executive Committee of the
CDA until a new officer is appointed by election or consensus in a
general meeting.

C. Any landlord/landlady that fails to pay his/her dues shall
not be eligible for any office.

D. Any Bini landlorf who had risen to the position of Odionwere
and have not been paying his dues of cooperating with the Community is
not entitled to the position of Odionwere or any office in the
community. Without prejudice to the positions of the Edionwere, the
two, Edionwere shall perform the traditional roles as obtainable in
other communities. They are the Advisers of the Community Development
Association as well as being the Chairman and vice chairman of the
Board of Trustees respectively.

7.2 TENURE OF OFFICE:

A. Officers elected under article 7.1 above shall bold
office for a period of four years.

B. A person so elected in the first instance shall qualify
to be re-elected for a second tenure of four years if found suitable.

C. No person should hold office for more than two tenures.
